Steve and had our usual Christmas here in Rochester. It is getting more fun every year as the kids get older! On the Saturday before Christmas we had an unexpected act of kindness bestowed on our front doorstep.
First our phone rang and as soon as I said "Hello" the caller hung-up. Considering it a wrong number or a harmless prank call I went about my day.

A few minutes later it rang again. This time the caller said "Ho, Ho, Ho, Look Out Your Front Door!". Sure enough there was a large pile of presents on our front door step. They were for Leah and Joseph. The giver's also gave Steve and I two gift cards, one for gas and one for groceries. Lastly, they left us a gracious letter signed from "Your Friends".

On Christmas Morning we did not have enough memory to film the children opening all of their presents, so we decided to use video to film them opening the presents from "our friends". Here is the video we made on Christmas morning:
It was such a fun Christmas! Here are some Christmas pictures of the kids and tree on Christmas morning and opening presents from Grandma and Grandpa Lemmon!

The tree before the chaos!

Since Christmas we have gotten back into the swing of everyday life. Today was Steve's first day of nursing school--yay!
Here's a few pictures of Leah wearing Steve's cowboy hat last week and riding on her big wheel today!

And Joseph once again attacking the camera! I love his adorable smile though:)

Since Steve is going to be gone from about 6:30am until 12:30am (after midnight) every Monday now, starting today, I'm off to attempt Family Home Evening by myself with the kids! Have a great week everyone!

Man FHE alone will be a handful, but you can do it! :)
